How it works
1. Start any way you like. Describe what the map is about, upload a PDF, slide export, image or notes file, paste an outline you already have, or start from a blank central topic.
2. Shape it. Drag a topic onto another to move it, fold branches away, colour them, and add notes. Work on the canvas or switch to an outline — with a keyboard shortcut for every move.
3. Grow any branch with AI. Pick a topic and ask for three, five or eight new ideas, with an optional steer like “low budget”. The AI reads the rest of the map, so it fills the gaps instead of repeating you.
4. Put your team on it. Brief Aria, your AI chief of staff, on any branch. She turns it into a plan and hands each part to the right Expert. You review the brief before anything happens.

What is an AI mind map generator?
It is a tool that drafts a mind map for you from a description or a document: the central idea, the main branches and the topics under each. You start from a structure you can react to instead of a blank page, then edit it like any other map.
Can I turn a PDF into a mind map?
Yes. Upload a PDF of up to about 5 MB — or an image, a text or a Markdown file — and the AI pulls its main ideas out as branches. Add a short steer such as “just the action items” or “organise it by chapter” to shape the result.
Can I make a mind map from text or notes without AI?
Yes. Paste an outline — Markdown headings and bullets, a numbered list, or lines indented with tabs — and it becomes a map straight away, with no AI involved. You can also start from a blank central topic.
Is the AI mind map generator free?
You can start free, with no card. Building and editing maps by hand doesn’t use your plan, up to 200 maps per workspace. Drafting a map with AI counts as one run of your plan’s included work, and growing a branch with AI uses a little AI time.
Can my team work on the same mind map?
Yes. Everyone in your workspace can open and edit a map. Every save is checked, so if a teammate saved while you were editing you choose whose version to keep, and nobody’s work disappears.
