Google Ads
Link your Google Ads account read-only. No Expert can change a campaign, budget or bid, and nothing is spent through it.
Google Ads is in the Connected apps catalog and connects with a Google sign-in. Support is basic for now. No Expert can create, change or pause a campaign, budget, bid or ad through it, and nothing is ever spent.
Google keeps campaign data behind extra developer access this connection doesn't carry yet, so Experts can't pull your campaign numbers through it today. The Ads page covers Meta ads. For Google Ads work, paste the figures you care about into a brief.
Why it helps
- Linking it can't touch your budget, because no Expert can change or spend anything in Google Ads.
- Your Experts still write ad copy and campaign plans when you paste your current numbers into a brief.
- Your Meta ads get a full read on the Ads page, with spend and results in one place.
How to use it
- Find Google Ads. Open Settings → Connected apps and search the catalog for Google Ads.
- Connect it. Press Connect and finish the Google sign-in in the tab that opens. If the row shows Ask us to enable, it isn't switched on yet.
- Give Experts the numbers. For copy or a campaign plan, paste last month's spend, clicks and conversions into your brief.
Make the most of it
- Run Meta ads too? Connect them for daily spend and results on the Ads page.
- A short table of campaign, spend, clicks and conversions in the brief gives an Expert all it needs to compare.
Questions
Can an Expert change my Google Ads campaigns?
No. There is no action in Google Ads any Expert can take: no new campaigns, no budget or bid changes, no pausing.
Will my Google Ads numbers show on the Ads page?
Not today. The Ads page reads Meta ads.
How do I disconnect it?
Remove the app's access in your Google Account's security settings. That ends all of its Google access, Gmail and Drive included.
