Deals: your pipeline, stage by stage

See every deal you hope to win as a card on a board, move it stage by stage, and know what your pipeline is worth at a glance.

A deal is work you hope to win: a project, a retainer, a sale. Customers → Deals shows them as a board with one column per stage, from Lead through Qualified, Proposal sent and Negotiation to Won or Lost.

Each card shows its value, the main contact, the expected close date and how long it has sat in its stage. Column totals add up per currency. Open a card to see its people, company, tasks, notes and documents in one place.

Why it helps

  • You see where every deal stands and what each stage is worth without building a spreadsheet.
  • Cards that sit too long in a stage are marked Idle, so stalled deals stand out before they quietly die.
  • Marking a deal lost asks why, so you build a record of what to fix next time.

How to use it

  1. Open Customers → Deals. Choose Deals under Customers. Switch Show as between Board and List, search by name, or filter by owner.
  2. Add a deal. Press New deal, name it under Deal, and add the main contact, company, stage, value and expected close if you know them. Press Add deal.
  3. Move it along. Drag a card by its grip to the next stage, or pick a stage from the card’s move list. Moving a deal to Lost asks Why was it lost?
  4. Open the deal. Click a card’s title to see its people, company, open tasks and documents. Use Task, Person and Add note to keep it moving.
  5. Shape your stages. Press CRM settings and edit Deal stages: rename, reorder or add stages, and set each one’s chance of winning and the days before a deal counts as idle. Only the owner can change stages.

Make the most of it

  • Set the idle days for each stage to match how fast you really sell. Too short and everything looks stalled; too long and nothing does.
  • Use the List view with Won or Lost to look back at a quarter and see where deals ended up.
  • Archiving a deal keeps its documents and history, so tidy the board without losing the record.
  • If you send proposals from Prospects, a client who accepts moves the deal to Won at the proposal’s total by itself.

Questions

Will my Experts move deals for me?

No. You move deals yourself. The only automatic moves come from Prospects: an accepted proposal or a paid invoice marks its deal won.

What currency are deal values in?

Each deal has its own currency, and new deals start in the default set in CRM settings. Column totals are added up per currency and never converted.

Can I have more than one pipeline?

Not yet. Each account has one pipeline, with up to 12 stages you can rename, reorder and remove.
