Get your first 10 leads this week

Name your ideal customer, pull real good-fit names from your contacts and Google Maps, and have first emails waiting in your Gmail drafts.

Ten good leads start with knowing exactly who you are after. Miles, your outbound sales Expert, defines your ideal customer and finds real local businesses that fit. Orbit, your CRM Expert, sorts the contacts you already have into hot, warm and cold.

First emails go out from your own Gmail. Your Experts write drafts; you read each one and press Send yourself.

Why it helps

  • You stop writing to “anyone who might buy” and start with a short list of people who fit.
  • The contacts sitting in old spreadsheets become ranked names with a next step for each.
  • First emails are drafted in your voice and waiting in Gmail, so outreach takes minutes, not an evening.

How to use it

  1. Name who you’re after. Send Miles the brief from Figure out who my best-fit buyers actually are. You get your ideal customer and the signals that say they are ready now.
  2. Start with people who know you. In Customers → Imports, press Import a file and add your spreadsheet, or paste the rows. Then ask Orbit who to follow up with today.
  3. Find new businesses that fit. Ask Miles for real local businesses from Google Maps, such as “20 dental clinics in Pune that fit my ideal customer”. Add your best ten in Customers → People with Add person.
  4. Connect Gmail. The account owner opens Inbox → Google and presses Connect Google. Your Experts can then write drafts into your Gmail. They cannot send.
  5. Get the first emails drafted. Ask Orbit to draft a personal email to a named contact: it lands in your Gmail Drafts. For a sequence, Miles writes a 4-touch cold email sequence for you to send.
  6. Track every lead. On each person’s page, add a Deal or a Task so nobody slips. Miles can write a follow-up cadence with each touch on its day.

Make the most of it

  • Write to ten people properly rather than a hundred badly. One clear reason for reaching out beats any template.
  • Orbit drafts one email per brief, so brief it by name for your top few contacts.
  • If you have Prospects under Customers, it searches and scores good-fit businesses for you, and you approve each first email one at a time.
  • When someone replies, ask Miles to prep you for the call.

Questions

Will anything be sent without me?

No. Orbit’s emails become drafts in your own Gmail, and Miles’s sequences are saved to your Library. You press Send.

Where do the new businesses come from?

Real Google Maps listings: name, address, phone, website and rating. Miles works from what it finds and does not invent contacts.

Why Gmail and not Email marketing?

Email marketing is for people who asked to hear from you. One-to-one first emails belong in your own mailbox, where the replies come straight back to you.

Is ten leads a promise?

No. The playbook gets you ten good-fit names and a first message for each. Who replies depends on them, and on how well the message fits.
