Win back abandoned carts

Till finds the money sitting in your Shopify abandoned carts, and Nova drafts the emails to win it back, for your approval.

Every abandoned cart is a customer who already picked the product. Till, your store Expert, reads your Shopify store and puts a number on the money left in carts over the last 30 days, with what winning back a tenth or a quarter of it would be worth.

Nova then drafts a short, warm two-email recovery sequence in your voice. It waits in Approvals; nothing sends until you approve it, and Till never changes your store.

Why it helps

  • You see the real money left in carts, worked out from your own orders, not an industry average.
  • Recovery emails are drafted for you in your brand voice, with no fake urgency.
  • With the standing order on, new abandoned carts brief Nova on their own, so recovery stops depending on your memory.

How to use it

  1. Connect Shopify. In Settings → Connected apps, connect Shopify. Till can only read: your orders, products, customers and abandoned checkouts.
  2. Put a number on it. Send Till the brief from Find out how much money is sitting in my abandoned carts. You get revenue, average order value, best and worst sellers, and the value left in carts.
  3. Get the recovery emails drafted. Brief Till with Get my abandoned carts chased automatically. Nova drafts two emails: a friendly reminder, then a gentle nudge about the product.
  4. Switch on the standing order. On Home → Standing orders, turn on A cart is abandoned. It needs Till and Nova on your team and the paid plan.
  5. Approve with care. Open the draft in Approvals. Check who it reaches (the card shows the tag and how many contacts), press Send me a test, then Approve and send.
  6. Fix what makes people leave. Brief Till with Fix the product pages that are quietly costing me sales. You get before-and-after rewrites to paste into Shopify.

Make the most of it

  • Also turn on Daily store check: each morning Till compares with yesterday and calls out cart value climbing or a bestseller running low.
  • Before your first recovery send, run Make sure my emails actually reach the inbox.
  • Keep recovery emails about the product they chose. Try a plain reminder before reaching for a discount.

Questions

Will Till change my Shopify store?

No. Till only reads your store. Product rewrites come back as before-and-after text for you to approve and paste in yourself.

When does a cart count as abandoned?

When a checkout has been left unfinished for more than an hour.

Who gets the recovery emails?

Nova’s draft goes to an audience on your email list, picked by tag, and anyone on your do-not-mail list is skipped. Check the audience before you approve.
