Airtable
Let your Experts read records from your Airtable bases, so they work from the tables you already keep.
Connecting Airtable lets your Experts read records from the bases you choose, such as a content plan, an inventory list or a lead tracker. Paste the table's link into a brief and the Expert reads the rows it needs.
It is read-only. No Expert can add, edit or delete a record. You connect with an Airtable personal access token, so you decide exactly which bases the team can see.
Why it helps
- Experts work from your live tables instead of a copy you pasted last week.
- You choose which bases are visible, so private tables stay private.
- Your records stay exactly as they are, because the connection only reads.
How to use it
- Create a token in Airtable. In Airtable's builder hub, create a personal access token with the data.records:read scope, and add only the bases you want to share.
- Connect Airtable. Open Settings → Connected apps, find Airtable under For your business, press Connect and paste the token in the tab that opens.
- Point an Expert at a table. Paste the table's link into a brief, for example “read our content plan and draft next week's posts”.
- Disconnect from Airtable. Delete the token in Airtable. Access stops at once.
Make the most of it
- Read scopes are all your Experts need, so leave the write scopes off the token.
- Add a base to the token in Airtable later and your Experts can read it, with no reconnect.
- Plain field names like “Price” or “Status” help an Expert read each column correctly.

Questions
Can an Expert change my Airtable?
No. Experts read records only, and a read-only token blocks changes on Airtable's side too.
How do I disconnect it?
Delete the token in Airtable, or take a base off it. The row in Connected apps has no Disconnect button of its own.
