Google Calendar

Let your Experts see your schedule, prep you for meetings and put events on your own calendar, without inviting anyone.

Connecting Google Calendar lets your Experts read what is coming up: times, attendees, notes and the meeting link. Aria's daily brief covers the next day and a half, and the Google page lists your next seven days with a Prep me button on each meeting.

An Expert can also add an event to your own calendar when you ask. It never adds guests and never sends an invitation. Calendar comes with the same Google sign-in as Gmail and Drive.

Why it helps

  • You walk into meetings prepared, because Aria reads the invite and pulls together what you need to know.
  • Your daily brief is planned around the time you actually have free.
  • Events go on your calendar when you ask, and no invitation ever goes out to anyone.

How to use it

  1. Open Settings → Connected apps. Under Direct connections, press Connect Google on the Google Workspace row.
  2. Allow calendar access. Sign in with your business Google account and leave the calendar boxes ticked.
  3. Prep for your next meeting. Open Inbox → Google, switch to the Calendar tab and press Prep me on a meeting.
  4. Remove it when you want. Press Remove on the Google Workspace row. This removes Gmail and Drive too.

Make the most of it

  • Meetings reads the same calendar, so the notetaker knows which calls are coming up.
  • Ask in plain words, like “block two hours on Friday morning to write the proposal”, and the Expert puts it on your calendar.
  • If you connected Google before calendar was included, the row says Reconnect to add Drive & Calendar. Reconnect once.

Questions

Can an Expert invite people or move my meetings?

No. It can read events and add a new one to your own calendar, with no guests and no invitation. It can't edit, move or delete anything already there.

Which calendar does it use?

Your primary calendar on the Google account you signed in with.

Can teammates see my calendar?

Only if you turn on Share with my team, and then their Experts can only read it. Adding events stays with your own briefs.
