Answer every review within a day
Herald checks the web and your Google reviews every day, drafts a reply in your voice to each new one, and you post it.
An answered review, good or bad, tells the next reader that someone is paying attention. With daily monitoring on, Herald, your reputation Expert, records each new review and mention on Reputation with its sentiment and source, and drafts the reply.
Herald never posts. You read the draft, adjust it and post it yourself where the review lives.
Why it helps
- New reviews and mentions come to you, so you stop searching for your own name.
- Every reply is already drafted in your voice, so answering takes a minute, not a mood.
- Negative reviews are flagged first, so the one that matters never sits for a week.
How to use it
- Tell Herald who you are. Check that your Business DNA has your brand name and website. That is what Herald searches for.
- Turn on daily monitoring. Open Grow → Reputation and switch on Daily brand monitoring. Herald scans press, the web and your Google reviews once a day.
- Start with Needs you. The Needs you tab collects negative mentions and anything with reach. Press Source to read the original.
- Draft the reply. Press Draft a response. Herald’s chat opens with the brief written; send it, and Herald drafts a reply in your voice for your approval.
- Post it yourself. Edit the draft if you need to, copy it and post it where the review is, such as your Google Business Profile.
- Let new reviews brief Herald. On Home → Standing orders, turn on A review comes in and A negative mention appears. Each new one then has a reply drafted before you sit down.
- Ask for more reviews. Press Get more Google reviews for a QR code to put on your counter, receipts or invoices.
Make the most of it
- Answer the good reviews too. A short, specific thank-you shows readers a real person is there.
- Once a week, press Ask Herald for this week’s digest for every mention with its sentiment and a source link.
- Hand over the review QR code at the moment a customer says thanks, when they are most likely to write.
- When the same complaint keeps coming up, ask Juno to find out what customers are really complaining about.

Questions
Does Herald post replies for me?
No. Herald drafts and you post. That is a deliberate rule, so nothing appears in public under your name without you.
Which reviews does it see?
New Google reviews for your business, plus mentions it finds in the press and on the open web. Each one keeps its source link so you can check it.
Does monitoring work on the free plan?
Daily monitoring and standing orders are unattended work, which is part of the paid plan. On any plan you can brief Herald yourself or press Draft a response on a mention.
What about a really damaging one?
Ask Herald for a holding statement as well as a reply. It drafts both in your voice, for you to approve and post.
