Voice: talk to your Experts
Speak your briefs instead of typing them, hear any reply read aloud in that Expert’s voice, and talk to Aria hands-free on your phone.
Voice works in three places. In Chat and the ask bar on Home, the microphone turns what you say into text in the message box, so you can check it before you send. Under each reply, Listen reads it aloud, and every Expert has its own voice.
On your phone, the Talk tab is a spoken conversation with Aria. You speak, she answers out loud, and when there is real work to do she briefs the right Expert.
Why it helps
- You get a brief down in the time it takes to say it, which helps when an idea arrives in the middle of something else.
- You can listen to a long report while you do something else, instead of reading it at your desk.
- On the phone, one tap and a sentence is enough to put an Expert to work.
How to use it
- Dictate a brief. In Chat, choose the microphone beside the message box (Dictate your message) and speak. Pause when you’re done, or choose Stop and type what I said.
- Check it and send. Your words appear in the box. Fix anything it misheard, then press Send. Nothing goes until you do.
- Listen to a reply. Under any reply, choose Listen to hear it in that Expert’s voice. Choose Stop to end it.
- Talk on your phone. Open AiExpert on your phone, go to Talk and tap the microphone. Speak, pause, and Aria answers out loud.
- Follow the work. When Aria hands a job on, you see Sent to with the Expert’s name. The finished work appears in that Expert’s chat.
Make the most of it
- Say the brief the way you’d say it to a colleague, then tidy the text before you press Send. You get the detail of talking with the care of writing.
- Each dictation stops on its own after a short pause. Say a long brief in a few goes: each one adds to the text already in the box.
- If there’s no microphone button, voice isn’t on for your account right now. Typing works as usual.
- When a request is unclear, Aria asks one short question. Answer it out loud and she carries on.

Questions
Does voice send anything on its own?
No. Dictation only fills the message box. When Aria briefs an Expert by voice the work runs, but anything that sends, posts or spends waits in Approvals.
Why can’t it hear me?
Your browser needs microphone access for AiExpert. If you see “I need microphone access to hear you”, allow the mic in your browser and try again.
Can I talk to an Expert other than Aria?
On the phone you talk to Aria and she passes the job on. In Chat you can dictate to any Expert and listen to any reply.
