Know your numbers in five minutes a week
One Monday routine: Aria’s brief, your Pulse scorecard against targets and Penny’s read on your money, in about five minutes.
Knowing your numbers is a habit, not a spreadsheet. Pulse builds a 13-week scorecard from real events: payments, refunds, new payers, email clicks and AI spend. Aria, your chief of staff, turns what changed into the day’s one move, and Penny, your finance Expert, reads your money.
Connect your payment or shop account once, set a target or two, and Monday morning becomes a five-minute check.
Why it helps
- A drop shows up in week one, not when the month closes.
- You see each number against the target you set, so “is this good?” has an answer.
- The week starts with one clear move and a plan your team works from.
How to use it
- Connect where the money comes in. In Settings → Connected apps, connect Stripe or Shopify. For bank or card statements, upload a CSV or PDF in Penny’s chat with the paperclip.
- Read Aria’s brief. On Home, the Aria card’s Today tab gives her headline and the top move. Do it hands that move to the right Expert; Brief me fills an empty card.
- Check the scorecard. Open Home → Pulse and choose Scorecard. Press Set target on the numbers that matter; each then reads On target or Off target.
- Look at your money. Open Money for money in and out this month, live revenue and AI spend. Press Ask Penny for what changed and why.
- Agree this week’s plan. On Pulse → This week, drag cards between columns. Approving an Expert’s card is what starts it.
- Put it on repeat. On Home → Standing orders, turn on Monday money check and Monday planning meeting, and add an Alert for a revenue drop. Standing orders run on the paid plan.
Make the most of it
- Set targets on two or three numbers, not all of them. A scorecard with everything on it gets ignored.
- Add one to three Rocks: the 90-day priorities every Expert works toward.
- When something is in the way, press Raise an issue. The Monday planning meeting reads open issues when it proposes the week.
- Look at Did it work? under Activity for before-and-after numbers on what your team shipped.

Questions
Where do the numbers come from?
From real events: payments and refunds from your connected payment or shop account, clicks and opens from email you send here, and your AI spend. Pulse does the arithmetic; nothing is guessed.
Can my teammates see the money?
No. Money is owner-only, so teammates never see it.
Does Pulse act on its own?
No. Every card on the board waits for your approval before an Expert starts it.
