Turn one Zoom call into a week of clips

Upload one Zoom recording and Vega cuts the moments that stand on their own into captioned, branded clips ready to post.

A long call usually holds a handful of moments worth posting. Vega, your video Expert, reads the transcript, picks the parts that make sense on their own, and cuts each one with captions in your typeface, a hook card at the start and an end card.

Every clip comes from what was actually said: nothing is generated or reworded. One pass cuts up to five clips; a second pass in another shape takes you to ten.

Why it helps

  • A recording you already made becomes a week or two of posts, without opening a video editor.
  • Captions are burned in, so clips still work in feeds that play with the sound off.
  • Every clip is in your brand colours and typeface, so it looks like you made it on purpose.

How to use it

  1. Check your brand kit. Open Brand → Create and look at the strip at the top. Edit brand kit sets the colours and typeface every caption uses.
  2. Save the recording. Download the MP4 of your Zoom recording to your computer. Up to about 75 minutes works.
  3. Upload it. Under Work with footage you have, pick Clips from a file, then Choose a recording.
  4. Pick how many and what shape. Set Clips (up to five) and Shape: 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, 1:1 for the feed, 16:9 for YouTube. Press Find the best clips.
  5. Review the clips. Vega reports the timestamp each clip came from and what was said in it. The finished clips appear on Create, under Made so far.
  6. Go to ten. Under Already uploaded — no need to send it again, press Find the clips with a different Shape. Check the second set for repeats before you post.
  7. Write the captions and post. Ask Echo for the post text to go with each clip, then post the clips on each platform.

Make the most of it

  • Calls with clear audio and one main speaker give the cleanest captions.
  • On the call, say the important things in whole, standalone sentences. Those are the moments Vega looks for.
  • If the recording is already online, Clips from a recording takes a link instead of a file.
  • Have a short clip already? Finish a video adds captions, a hook card and an end card to it.

Questions

Is my recording private?

Yes. The file is private to your account and deleted automatically after 7 days. The clips are yours to keep.

Will it make anything up?

No. Clips are cut only from moments in the transcript, and hooks come from what was said. If nothing stands on its own, Vega says so instead of forcing a clip.

What if the file is too big?

The page tells you before uploading. Trim the recording, or export it at a lower quality, and try again.

Who can upload, and what does it cost?

The account owner uploads. Each harvest counts as a run on your plan: see Plans and runs.
