Run a monthly newsletter in 20 minutes
Turn five rough bullet points into a finished newsletter in your voice, test it, and send it on your approval, once a month.
A newsletter that goes out every month beats a perfect one that never does. You bring a few rough notes; Nova, your email Expert, writes the email in your voice with subject line options, and it waits for you in Approvals.
You read it, send yourself a test and press approve. Nothing goes to your list until you do.
Why it helps
- The blank page is gone: you edit a finished draft instead of writing from nothing.
- Your list hears from you every month, so they remember you when they are ready to buy.
- A test send and one approval click mean nothing goes out with a typo or to the wrong people.
How to use it
- Jot down the month. Five minutes, five bullets: news, a tip, an offer, a story, a link. Rough notes are fine.
- Brief Nova. Paste your bullets into Nova’s chat with the brief from Turn my bullet points into this week’s newsletter. Nova saves a campaign draft with subject line options.
- Read and polish it. In Grow → Email marketing → Campaigns, open the draft marked Drafted by Nova. Use Write with Nova to Rewrite a part or get Subject ideas.
- Check who it goes to. Under Send to, pick your whole list or a tag. People on your do-not-mail list are always skipped.
- Send yourself a test. Type your address and press Send me a test. Read it on your phone, the way most people will.
- Approve and send. Press Approve and send email 1 on the campaign, or Approve and send on its card in Approvals. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- Read the report. Open the sent campaign for its Report. Trust clicks more than opens: some mail apps count an open that never happened.
Make the most of it
- Try the A/B subject test: your list splits in half, each half gets a different subject line, and the report shows which opened better.
- Before your first send, open Deliverability and work through what it flags, or run Make sure my emails actually reach the inbox.
- Grow the list between issues with a sign-up form on your site.
- Keep a running note on your phone during the month. Newsletter day is then just a paste.

Questions
Does Nova send it on its own?
No. Nova only drafts. The campaign waits in Approvals and in Campaigns until you approve it.
Can I write it myself and just use Nova to polish?
Yes. Press New campaign, write your draft, then use Write with Nova to rewrite it or suggest subject lines.
Who receives it?
Whoever you pick under Send to. Anyone who unsubscribed, bounced or marked you as spam is never mailed again.
What does it cost?
Nova’s draft counts as a run on your plan. See Plans and runs for what your plan includes.
